Anyone have any info on Eastern Fighters in Switzerland building New Yaks? Thanks, Rob

Huh?
Never heard of this one
Interesting - can they rivet in a straight line - that would be an innovation on a YAK .

Rob
Check their advert in Classic Wings 48, they are already building new Yak UPWs, and are considering the Yak 3 as well.
If you want more info you can PM me.

Thanks Dave. Do they have a website? Do you know anyone with one of their Yak UPW's?

Hi everybody!
I am new to this forum and I would like to give you some first hand information about the new built Yak's:
"Eastern-Fighters, LLC" is a Swiss based company building new Yak's.
We are in the process of building a batch of 5 new "Yak-3U/R-2000" as we call them (not UPW's) and the first one is being completed this month. This first airplane will go to the US West coast where well known air show pilot (Yak-9) Eddie Andreini will receive and demonstrate it to interested parties.
The quality of this Yak's are really great and even the rivet lines are straight (which is indeed an innovation on a Yak...

).
We have no website yet as we wanted to keep it quite and wait until the first airplane is ready to fly. But if you are interested we have a lot of information and pictures ready to send.
Regards
Marco,
