Hey Guys:

One of the technicians at work was telling me about a real "big boss" with a base in the Gulf of California area who actually bought sea mines, torpedos, and 5" guns from the Mexican Navy.. Evidently, he pays off the Federales to give him immunity.

Evidently, he even bought or (stole?) a Cessna 206, and put M-60s in it and strafed a rival "boss". The technician told me he was on CNN or something like that too.

Anyway, it's amazing folks like that exist. Do you all have any info on it?

Chris

If he did it, I'm surprised he's use a 206.
With his money, he could buy a jet fighter or armed trainer...I'm sure if you know the "right" people ypou could get a warbird to do the dirty work.
An L-39, Strikemaster, or MiG....could do a number on your "competition" and probably scare the Mexican air force at the same time. :D

Those probably aren't as "stealthy" as a 206 though.

Talked to my coworker:

He said the guy used a Cessna 206 or 182 instead of a jet, because he actually strafed the place during a former partner/rival's wedding. He wanted to have the element of surprise.

If he brought in a jet, they possibly would've been prepared for the attack.

I forgot to mention the guy also had some kind of missiles for defense at his base too. Amazingly, I don't think this is fiction.
