Two WWII U.S. CG-4A Glider Cockpits - a side by side photo

Mon Nov 17, 2008 9:26 pm

I just bought a second WWII U.S. Waco CG-4A Glider, this time a complete fuselage. The fuselage is not inside just yet. I just brought the other cockpit inside and thought you guys and gals would like to see:

The CG-4A cockpit to the left has the complete factory fitted skid assembly. The center CG-4A cockpit did not have a skid assembly fitted. The cockpit to the far right is a CG-15A. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing.
Will sincerely appreciate you keeping us up-to-date on your progress and any education about these rare gliders you can pass along as you work on them.

Anybody know what happened to the one that came out of John Mahalchik's estate in New Jersey in the late '80s?
