Dan McIvor passed away.

Was just reading in my local paper that Dan McIvor passed away at the ripe old age of 93. For those who don't know who he was, Dan was the man responsible for development of the Martin Mars water bomber and an aviation icon in these parts.

That's sad...

I was there when he received a prize from the Québec Air and Space Foundation, his son was there to pick up the prize.

My Dad has most of his books at home, I should get into them!
