What?!? Ya mean that P-40s couldn't do the submarine thing! It was kind-of an homage to some of the old B&W thriller/dramas with their "high tech" special effects! Guess I'm going to have to dig it out and watch it again now!!

at least there still seems to be, or what looks like, Warbirds in movies nowadays. Though, it will only be a matter of time until we see something like 12 O'clock High remade.

As we drift further and further from P-40s on the beach, anyone seen the new movie "Australia" yet? Some vintage looking birds in the trailer at least! Set in Au at the outbreak of the war.
