Executive Sweet is the Air Classics/Challenge Publications B-25, not Pacific Princess.

i flew in the air classics magazine pacific princess b-25...

"Executive Sweet" belongs to the Air Classics folks. "Pacific Princess" never did, although I think they might have had a sticker on there once.

Fall of 1968 under the 45 degree entry pattern to runway 19R at KSNA....nothing like B-25s buzzing around all day long...some single ship, many multiple formations as the guys got ready to go to Mexico. A few 12 or 14 mass formations of olive-drab B-25s flying over at about 2000 feet. Twenty-eight R-2600s...you could hear them coming long before they flew by.

The M+M birds were completely unmarked...no registration numbers anywhere. They can only be identified circumstantially if at all.

In the early 1970s there were still a dozen B-25s at KSNA at the Tallmantz facility.

Co-incidentally,I saw this aircrfat in its dismantled state at Coventry in the'80's.The Hanover Street 'warpaint' was mostly peeled away and the 'Maiden' nose art was clearly visible as was the legend'... San Marcos , TX ' under the tail.
Good to see that it is getting the TLC it deserves now.

How does the book compare to the movie? The movie seems to have the skew of the era in which it was filmed (like Kelley's Heros) that I never really cared for.
