I cannot currently get into FlyPast Historic Forum. Is it down again? Or just me?

Oh good grief, not this again...

Alright chaps, pay attention:

Scott may own the place, but as unauthorized village idiot and bouncer of this here pub, all Flypast refugees of the British persuasion will be allowed entrance to the premises if:

1) The words "Duxford" and "Legends" are stricken from your working vocabulary. A phrase like, "Duxford is a religious experience" or "Legends is simply warbird Nirvana" will get yer arms broken and the rest of ya' tossed in the dumpster.

2) The variety of unauthentic paint schemes that we Yanks apply to warbirds is described as "refreshing" and "creative". Free round of drinks to the first Limey that praises multiple layers of clear coat.

3) When you curse Hollywood movies, fer Pete's sake spell it correctly: P-E-A-R-L H-A-R-B-O-R

Now then, lads: what'll it be to wet yer whistle?

Any ideas what's up this time? I had hoped to pick someone's brains today.

Clear coat? Isn't that what the Missus paints on her nails?

Mornin' all. I had a double crisis this morning, not only did I find Flypast down but I had problems getting into Wix too  Almost had to go and lie down in a dark room to recover.

Nice to come over here and get a Wix fix though :partyman:

Yep, both forums were down for a time. Holy cow.

Never fear, if it fails again, the RNZAF Forum is still going strong so feel free to pop across to http://rnzaf.proboards43.com/

Yeah, it was hard to get on here...perhaps the refugee traffic choked the WIX capabilities?

Dave?...the RNZAF forum wouldn't have hackers instituting ECM measures
in order to "cull the ranks" for NZ traffic? Naw....

I think the Flypast Forum will self destruct soon :( I'm quite annoyed actually.

Some serious Forum Management Muppetry going on there I feel.

Expect to see me more on here.
