This one just might become a reality. The new book He!! Hawks by Robert F. Dorr is about a P-47 group in the 9th air force. He is billing it as a Band of Brothers of the air and apparently is in discussions about bringing to one or another screen at some time.

Nanette by Edwards Park. One of the best memoirs of a typical (non ace) fighter pilot. He has a description of leading his entire squadron on a long curving descent along a wall of clouds where he could feel in his fingertips how close he was to going outside the envelope.

Allot of good ideas

I add Tommy Blackburn's VF-17 to the mix.

I'd like to see a mini-series or film on the last days
of Singapore where the Brewster Buffalo defended
the Island.
CGI would be the only choice of course with mock-ups
for ground shots.

There were many events in these times, The Prince of Whales
was sunk, aerial dogfights took place over Ipho and Penang
was bombed. Much scope for a script of some sort I'd think.

A remake of "The Spirit of St. Louis" would be another film
I'd like to see. I think filmmaking technology today would do
a remake like that proud.

Agree with First Light, but my choice would be the true story of 'Operation Jerico'. In a few years time there should be just enough Mozzies around as well.
