My St Patrick Day plans, Drop Kick Murphy's in Boston

Fri Dec 10, 2004 2:37 pm

I'm pretty excited about this. I'm going to the Friday and Saturday Night shows. My brother picked up a couple tickets and it should be a great time. It will be the first time I get to see them. :D

Anything / Anywhere local worth going? Before / after the shows?

This could be as much fun as March 17 in Hobart, Tasmania. probable not but a close second.

HEY,
Maybe we should make this a WIX Event?

Think about your brothers!

There will be two of me so I should be hard to miss. My brother & I look similar. I think we both answer to Terry, Mick or Tim. I also answer to Dave but that is another story (a cousin who looks nothing like me).

I'll keep a look out for you Rob. Than ks for the heads up on the DVD!

KRLang are you also going to be there? I figure Rob might be so I said something.

We'll be staying at the Ho-Jo's.
Come to think about it My Brother , Our Friend and myself are all X-squids, Boston better watch out

Cool

Good to hear from you. The Board seems a bit slow as of late.

What a great time. Both show I went to where GREAT. My voice hurts a bit still.

Saturday night Drop Kick played “The Fields of Athenery” in Memory of a Guy who was Killed in Iraq and left behind a Wife and 2 children. Wow that was something. He had written a letter to his mother asking her to request they play that if he was killed.
Moving, very moving.

We stayed at the Ho-Jo's right under Fenway. Not the nicest place; But a great location. The place was full of people going to the shows.

Rob,
I was looking but did not see you. Do you take some pictures?

Oh well.
I hope your time was as good as mine was. I can't wait to see them again.

But I'm paying for the fun, I now have a nasty cold.
