No, the Dauntless uses the same lever as the wing flaps for dive brakes.

According to the P-38 Pilot Training Manual,the Dive Flaps on late model P-38's were activated by a toggle switch on the control wheel and the Maneuver Flaps were actuated with the normal Wing Flap lever.So,my bets are with Paul and the T-33 or JDK with an Acme product for Wyle E. Coyote.

The stabilizer trim adjusment on most big aircraft is a threaded rod correctly identified as an ACME SCREW. Whenever I mention that to my students it generates a laugh, then I point out that EVERYTHING provided to Wiley E. Coyote by ACME worked as advertised, it was misapplied by W.E.C. thereby causing the disaster that unfolded afterwards.
