My friend Dale Pinckney 16th FS 51st FG was shot down straffing in his a/c in 1943.

So...some of the P-40' that served in Africa went directly to China? I did not know that.

The K-5 my favorite type of P-40.Jack,that is some good info on tranfer of aircraft from North Africa to China.I learn something new all the time from you.

Yes, very much so.
A number of 51st guys flew off the Ranger to North Africa and then went all the way to China.
