:D Does anyone have information on the 4 bladed Hamilton-Standard propeller used on the Merlin powered Candair North Star DC-4M?

Theres a new prop on the North Star at the Canada Aviation Museum. They've been working steady on it, with no money and darn few people, and accomplishing great things.

Do you have a more specific question? I know of at least one P-51 that flew with one of these props. Not sure if it was cut down or not though.

It was, I think, a Ham Standard specific to this aircraft. I believe the blades actually will mount to a regular P-51 hub. I know that some North Star blades were imported and modified as a presumably lower-cost alternative to the Mustang's regular prop. There have been photos posted in the last year or so on WIX of Mustangs with these blades...
