Another thread got me wondering. How many of us on WIX are also musicians? Pilot or non-pilot, it seems there is a strong correlation between flying and music.

Regardless if you are a CFII or a student pilot, play guitar like Jimmy Page or are just starting out, virturally everyone I know in the aviation world is also tied to the music world in some way.

coincedence or not?

Nathan being a moderator can really be a b*tch sometimes can it? What to move, what not to move ...

Don't worry about my post Nathan. I should have re-titled it to not be so pro-air racing. Air racing was actually the last thing on my mind when I came up with the question. Now back to music ...

BTW ... you're doing fine Nathan, at least you have the courtesy to send me a PM stating why you moved mine. I'm fine with that ... Keep up the good work. :D

I was just curious because Nathan moved Mark's post about warbirds who have raced at Reno who have a combat history because it's was "off" topic and now were chatting about music. Just didn't seem equal in treatment
I was pretty sure I saw a post in here about Steppenwolf also but it has vanished

Well, I used to be in a band before I moved to Seattle. I set up a myspace page just for fun.

I've played Classical and Flamenco Guitar for many years, but this doesn't usually count when pilots get together.
Usually as I tell the guys this over the sound of Jimmy Hendrix in the background the response is "You play WHAT!!!"
