My mama always said to me "Brad you have such a pretty head of hair, why do you keep it so short?"

By the way Jack, I do think all animals, furry and otherwise, have a place in this world. It's on a plate between the potatoes and green beans!

one in office and one in jail.

I agree Scott. A statement was made (albeit second hand), and counterpoints were then given. I found the posts by members of the Collings Foundation to be clear and direct, and I believe that everyone can make up their own mind on this topic without heavy handed moderation or censorship.

Well done.

Broken Wrench....you're a bit touchey on this one.
:)
I'm a journalist with a MA...I"ve studdied libel laws, and this isn't even close. To be libelous he would have had to give specifics....make a claim about the plane, its maintenance, or operation.

Well I 've in A/C maintenance my whole life. What you havn't taken ito account Mr Reporter is that if a maintenace Fed reads what you wrote it kind of hints at unproper maintenance is being performed on the aircraft which could warrent a visit by a Maintenace FED. They then go thru your records and and the aircraft looking for discrepancies. I have went thru more B.S. for rumors someone started regarding A/C. So you skirted the law but you probably started alot of Sh%4 for Somebody. ?I know the boys I worked for in Dallas had their legal teams put heads on a stick for writing things llike that.

Actually I read the original comments as the CF being over zealous about safety (no bad thing IMHO).

Two sides to every story huh!

To get slightly back to the original topic... Phantom flew a very successful FCF today and was pronounced Code 2 flyable with a few very minor squawks. The jet is solid.

What's the matter, you don't like reporters?
:D :D :D
If your paranoid fears are correct....the feds snooping around may not be a bad thing. Why?
If a high profile jet warbird (not mentioning any names here) did another Sacramento ice cream shop incident, it would open up a can of trouble that would spell the end to all jet (and maybe non-jet) warbird flying.
In these days days of money hunting lawyers, it never hurts to be extra careful.
