Maybe they can assemble the world's largest ever gathering of Grumman delivery trucks, as well.

Chino is already pretty brown, you'd never see 'em (UPS truck reference).

(Mudge, don't forget the sunscreen, water and a big hat - you gave us a scare last year!)

Thanks for the thought. Already got those listed to bring.
Last year wasn't heat. It was an upper respiratory infection that felt like a heart attack. Not fun. Had all the tests done when I got back. Dr. said my heart would live to be 130. Unfortunately, my body wouldn't, but....
He also said I should lose 25 lbs. Yeah...like that's gonna' happen.

FYI...If you want to know how to get immediate attention in the emergency room, do what I did. I went to the window in the triage section and said, "Could you help me? I need someone to tell me I'm not having a heart attack." Worked like a charm. I was on a gurney in about 30 seconds.

Mudge the healthy :drink3:

I'm going to guess 1 F3F, 2 FM-2, 3 F6F (Friedkin, Pond, CAF), 1 F7F, 2 F8F, 2 TBM. That's actually a normal year for them; with a little effort they should be able to do even better. The real fun, as JDK says, is to see how many waterfowl they can bring in. How about a Mohawk and Tracker/Trader also.

I doubt the Pond Hellcat will be there. Ever since Pond's passing, all of his planes except the P-63 have been grounded. If I'm not mistaken, the P-63 was sold to the Palm Springs Air Museum. That's the only reason it still fllies.

The Bearcat is, I believe, a 3 way partnership, privately owned by Steve Hinton, Kevin Eldridge, and one more person, who I can't remember.

I'm thinking the 3 from Reno & RL's other one...

I know which one will be oil tight: Joes :) I looked at it last week where it's been parked for a month & there was barely a 1/2 cup of oil on the ground under it.. His T28 doesn't leak ANY oil...3Bond is your friend :)

Rats, forgot them. Good point. Do Turkeys float?

I'm sure that wasn't funny then, Mudge, but it's funny the way ya tell it.

I'll bear it in mind. Probably don't work when you are at the dentist, though.

Whatever does turn up, it'll be a good show.
