Remember seeing that a few months back. Love it.

Very nice!

But I bet after the first airing the TV station would be flooded with calls from "concerned parents" outraged at the shot of the kids playing with Witchcraft's waist guns.

Two fighters were also involved in that shoot, Reg flying the P-51D Gunfighter and myself flying the original CAF FM-2 Wildcat. Problem was, aside from finding the photo site about 60 miles or so from Midland (Reg at one point said something like, "back in a minute" and went down to read the name on the side of a town's water tower - neither of us were from/familiar with West Texas at that time) and we were basically told to follow the B-17G Sentimental Journey's lead for the shot but at a few tens of feet above the West Texas desert floor following the B-17 at very low altitude to "pop up" for the cameras, we, the fighters, were about beaten into the sand. So we didn't make the cut, it seems. I do have the footage shot on the filming site on the ground showing the film crew hitting the deck on one of the lowest passes of the B-17 and Reg and I then flying past but... Just another day in the life of a CAF pilot back then.

DontmesswithTexas is a clumsy site. I couldnt get it to do anything. I really liked the early nineties commercial where two rednecks pitch their beer cans and then the FiFi rises up behind them. YEAHH!
