check this out, from Fedora Lounge. This guy's buddy acquired some rubble and is building himself a mustang. 8) Doing pretty kick *** work and saving alot of the original "scrap" too! Look at some of the before and after shots in the thread. 8)

You're right, it's Swedish. I was thinking of Martin when I was posting, because I looked on the registry and this number wasn't there, and typed swiss without even thinking. I fixed the title.

How they made that mangled box back into it's proper shape is pretty amazing.

I hope it'll be restored as an S 26, not just another generic AAF a/c.

Kinda bothers me that there are F-6's aside from Lil Margaret that have been deconverted.

Seems like the plan for her is to be a static piece.

Yep. I had to chuckle when I read the "too far gone" to fly comment.

Taking this...

...back to this is pretty awesome. They think 70-80% of the aircraft will be original. Impressive.

26084 - it will be restored in the above correct c/s and hopefully one day put on display, as I gather, at F 21 SwAFB, LuleƄ/Kallax, the former base of this S 26 Mustang.
