I'm thinking about building up an aviation/photo related web site and would like to use cascading style sheets (CSS, v2.1). Has anyone done this and is there a newbie resource on CSS that you would recommend? Assume that I am pretty handy with html and that I get the concept of CSS but am otherwise a beginner. TIA.

Can't help much, but in the absence of other suggestions...

...a few years ago I used an O'Reilly book for the HTML programing, and it seemed to have a good chink on CSS, which I wasn't using so wasn't of direct interest - however the book was otherwise excellent.

The book I have is 'Web Design in a Nutshell, desktop quick reference' by Jennifer Niederst. The edn I've got (old now) is ISBN 1565925157. Try www.oreilly.com or Jennifer's own website, IIRC.

CSS is a great tool in keeping all your colors and text etc etc. uniform within the site.

Contact me offline and maybe I can help.
