Thanks Bill, I looked but somehow missed that info. My next (wish list) camera is the Canon 40D. I take it that 100-400L is that tan bazooka like lens that I see some guys have at the shows?

Correct, about $1400.00 new I think. I have a friend selling a hardly used one if your interested. That is now my rig, 40D + 100-400L. Good all around lens but not as good as a prime 300 or 400mm.

Can anyone post some interior photos of Danny's A-1E? I know this was an airplane that escaped to Thailand and was wondering how authentic the panel had remained.

adventure is flying a jet to England with tanker support etc......MADNESS might be a better descriptor! and one of the tanks would have to hold the oil...maybe 4 55 gallon drums in the hell hole hold?

"The AD-4 was owned by Dick Bertea. HB is the initals of his wife who gave the A/C to him for a birthday gift IIRC. A/C was maintained by Pacific Fighters at Chino.
The AD-5 was restored by Pacific Fighters and Fighter Rebuilders finished it.
