Greetings
I was wondering dose anybody have a photo of a formation of B-47's ?
I know that in the Movie Strategic Air Command their was a shot of them . But I was interested to know if any other time . I know for the most part that they flew solo on the missions at hand.
Also on the subject of B-47's How many Crashed or Exploded in service ? I was told that in the 50's in a span of a few weeks their were at least the 4 or 5 that blew up in Mid Air ( like that of the 747 ) can anybody confirm this ?
As Always
Thank you to all that respond .

Glen,

Here is a link to the 307th Wing photo collection:
http://www.307bwassoc.org/photos.htm

There should also be other B-47 Bombardment Wing websites that will have some good stuff on them.

Scott
