Well, yes, west-front, but that was all said in the quote on the previous page, wasn't it?!?

Robbie, I'm absolutely certain Montgomery's 'version' was all about 'look at me' - ego & PR. How much of which is debatable. By discarding the hat for the beret, it was clearly not about remembering where he'd been / served with.

No big issue, I just wondered if I was missing something. And the AWM entry looks like the one the non-authoritative digger history site copied - while the AWM quoted (most of) the units.

But hey, it's not something to argue about - don't stop posting your stuff, yes it is interesting.

I was lucky to be in the movie gray lady down, I had my 10 secs. of fame in h-46 154810,It was the stars stacy keach , reed ,heston ,mister kung foo.and every one else. But that was a long time ago. A lot of it was fictional but with the srv at NASNI and what they could do is true if something like that could happen. I recived some information latley that the srv program has been disbanded . The world changes and every thing updates. Thats progress.
