Northwest Regional is where I am based. I havent been out there since the B25 arrived but I am going out in the morning to finish up the annual on my 170. I'll be taking some pictures of it and will post asap. It is in the same storage area as the A7 and A4 that are listed for sale.

Stand by for an update.

For those who want to arrive at Oshkosh this summer in style, particularly from the West Coast, here's an opportunity. The crew of B-25J 44-28938 (N7946C) is looking for a few good men (or women) to join them on their eastward trek in July 2005. This year, two B-25s are going to fly together, and there are seats for up to ten additional crewmembers who will help share the cost. Crews can switch back and forth between the airplanes at fuel stops, and the trip includes accomodations and other stuff. I gave them an email a couple of weeks ago. They hadn't worked out the details yet and said they would get back to me. I hope it works out. That sounds like a fun ride.

The back of a B-25 is a pretty inhospitable place. Don't even think about sitting in the back for a trip of this length without both earplugs and a headset! You have been warned...

Don't know if I can agree with you guys here.
I've got about 250 hours in our B-25 with at least 200 in the back and it never bothered me and I never wore earplugs. I was even known to nap and read magazines on long flights. The only time I really got worn down was giving rides for 3 days at the Museum of Flight during their Doolittle Program. The Cascade guys drove us like dogs! Salem to Pendleton to Seattle 18 rides of 6 riders and then the trip home. All of us were dragging. BTW, when you pull the escape hatch(misnomer-stickman is the only one going through-I'll beat the plexi out of the waist blister) only aft of there get the wind. Maybe all my time napping on P-3s makes the difference.

Here are the pictures of the B25 at Northwest Regional (52F) Roanoke, Texas. The A7, A4 and T2 parts are still here. Most are just hulks. My mechanic said he looked at the B25 and it is full of corrosion.

The guard dog came out to scare me off...

"Drone of 4 PT-6"????????? Not on a P-3...........those are Allisons....................Yeah there good for nodding off, but I havent met a radial that I diddent like!!!! DC-3...........fell asleep hanging from a makeshift hammoc out of a cargo net during maint runs..........DC-3, at the navigators table from hartford to burlington. H-18 in the cabin on one of the executive leather seats during a 45 min trip.

More like the drone of 3 has on long missions one was usually caged.
Nothing like a combat aircraft with bunks, galley, head and video games (just for the Taco or AWs).

Is that a water cannon in yer turret, or are you just glad to see me?
(A constant dousing wouldn't be helpful with the corrosion issues.)

That photo was taken by a AOPA photographer who came with us to an show to take photos to go along with a story they wrote on us in AOPA Magazine. Everytime I look at it I'm grateful it didn't appear in the magazine.

Would this aircraft have been in RCAF markings ( metal lower/white upper with a red/white/red stripe divide )?, only I saw a B-25 being assembled at some sort of 'park' just up the coast from Panama City Fl. in Jan. '98 (?) which was as above.
