Mk. XIV Spitfire Question

Were Mk. XIV Spitfires utilized by the USAAF during the war? I've snooped around and I could only find Mk. V or Mk. IX Spitfires in American markings.

I don't think so, but they may have used some PR XIs.

308th FS 31st FG flew Spit MK VIIIs with retractable tailwheels and extended wingtips.
