This cowling half was found in the woods near Tallahassee, FL. Any idea what aircraft it is off of?

Any data plates or stampings ?
That would be a big help towards identification

It looks BT-13 to me, it has a half circle leading edge cross section.

Where exactly was this found? Dale Mabry AAF flew all kinds of aircraft from the field, could have been from a BT-13 or T-6. I have been researching the history of the field for years, and at any given time you’d find almost anything from there.

Definitely not from a T-6.
