We had a local Texas Chapter of the Antique Airplane Assoc. fly-in today. 44-73704 was in attendance. Over 40 airplanes flew in with a few Warbirds in the mix. SF260, Stearman, 5 L-19s and quite a few Cubs, Champs, Wacos and more. Below are a couple pics...

Dan--

That stang is SWEEEET...The prop is intriguing, looks like it might have originated with an H-model or even an F-82...?

Nice to see a classic L-bird get "billing" alongside a gorgeous F-51, too!

Cheers

S.

That's an aeroproducts rather than a more familar Hamilton Standard prop.

It's an Aeroproducts unit allright, but it also is a P-51H unit.

One of the few ships that do not use the HS 24D50-87 (cuffed) or H 24D50-105 (uncuffed - paddle blade) propellers.
From it's racing days as "Thunderbird".
