P-51D N119H left Salem for good yesterday after a all to brief 12 year stay.
She RONed at Sante Fe, NM and will in Breckenridge, TX by 11 AM for some work before heading northest to NY.
Is Texas thata way?

Nice pics. I'm sure it is a sad thing to watch a beauty like that fly away. With your title, I was afraid it was going to be a smoking hole or a scrapyard shot!

I guess I am getting way to jumpy anymore.
Glad she is coming to NY. I will be sure to take many pics of her if she comes to Geneseo. Good to have more warbirds coming to the east.

I understand Murphy Sr and 2 sons went in together on the a/c
I'm hoping when it's done they'll have Jeff fly it uo to NY for them.

Very sad. I'm sure it was hard for Jim to watch her fly away.
Has for paint I don't know, The scheme is a bit inarruate but in really nice shape. If it was me I'd put the $$ in flying it!!
