Looks like this one got named, Carrie B IV. Looking for nose art, have you seen it on this one? She should be another silver bird as she is a later serial.

I have yet to see a picture of it, but I think it would be NMF as well. No idea what the nose art looks like. Your best guess is good enough for me.

It is tough sometimes, just have to take a stab at it and update it later if info shows up. I dug all through my 401st BG book, Tunrner Publishing. I found reference to Carrie B I, II, III and IV, but no pics of any of them! Must have been camera shy. Got the book from Major Alvah Chapman's family after I did a profile of his AC last year. Sadly, he has passed since then.

The Fort in the background has the emergency panel markings that seem to have only been applied to very late model Gs, so could very well be 44-6588.

I knew I'd seen a photo of Carrie B IV's nose art somewhere.... albeit partial.

THAT is a great help. Hmmmmm, dark colored script, Black perhaps. It is about as dark as the prop blades and hubs.
