I have not heard or seen anything about Darryl Bond's TF lately. I caught about half a dozen rides with Darryl back when he was based in Chino in the mid 1990's. Is the aircraft still actively flying?

It's flown regularly at the Pacific Coast Air Museum's "Wings Over Wine Country" in Santa Rosa, each August too. Then in September, Dan Vance races with it at the Reno Air Races as racer #81.

Yes Daryl and Lady Jo have moved up to Santa Rosa a few years back, so that's why you don't see it in So Cal as much.

Can anyone tell me why it says aircraftsman 1st class under my name? I don't know why it's there and I'd like to remove it. While I'm at it, how can I correct the spelling of my last name on the board?
Thanks,
JC Paul (not Pail)

John,
Scott will have to fix the name thing for you. The "aircraftsman 1st class" is designated by the number of postings that you have made. Scott can fix that too. Send the moderator an email.

Wow, I really need to make a Chino show.
The line up seem to get better and better. That is what 3 or 4 P-40s?

I'll be officially looking for my official greeting! It looks like there will be 5 P-40's this year I believe. Me and Tom Camp in The E-model and N-model, POF N-model, Jim Thomas is bringing Tony Banta's E-model and I believe Bob Pond's N-model will be there. Lots-O-Hawks!
