Congratulations on getting her back into the air!

It's the payoff for long, grueling years of work, and hopefully it's just the beginning of many flights to come. Good job, everyone who had a hand in this accomplishment!

She's beautiful!! Wonderful work, all. 28 years of hard work has definitely paid off, that's great!

Once all the tests hops are done, is she going to join SJ on tour, and come to Texas for AIRSHO?

F-n fantastic!!!

330th, re-read that, it was a question, not a statment,
No plans have been released, they have thier hands full just doing testing, they don't need to worry about a tour.

She won't be going out on tour with SJ, at least not this year. First, we need to get some pilots checked out. The plane will fly with at least three crewmembers as we will add a flight mechanic/observer so we will have a thorough ground school to bring all the maintenance staff up to speed. Tim Jackson gave us a brief one last week but a more in depth one will be needed to operate the plane safely. My guess will be that it will do shows in the Southwestern US for a while but should be at Midland this year barring any unforseen gremlins. This week has been used to sort out the few issues that came up during the shakedown flights. Nothing major but we need to clean up an oil leak somewhere on the number one engine.

I went thru my photos and found a few of the B-25 over the years. It arrived at Falcon Field about a month before I did.

Great shots Matt. I was about two years later. When I got involved, the only noseart it had was FUBAR. Wasn't your handiwork was it?

My first exposure to her was in the T hanger. A friend and I had taken a weekend trip down to see SJ and got involved with pulling the flight deck floor out ( not an easy job). It's great to know that I had a small part in her restoration.
