There was a program on UK Television last week about Steve McQueen. I found out he had a Stearman!

There was also scene of the 'Steve McQueen' hangar in California, it looks like he had a Low Wing monoplane as well (I thought it looked like an Itaian Nardi???).. Does anyone know what it was?

About a decade ago an L-4J was listed in Trade-A-Plane, the ad said it was ex-Steve McQueen. They wanted $35,000 for it. A year or so later it was listed agin...so I guess it didn't sell the first time.
I woudn't mind having it if anyone knows its current whereabouts.

BTW: he had a Pitcarin Mailwing that was auctioned a few years ago.
