Sounds like it's getting hot and heavy in Tegucigalpa. Here's hoping the collection at Museo del Aire de Honduras remains out of harm's way.

Any news, Tulio?

I am sure this thread will be moved elsewhere.

Brother Dan, AFAIK, the supporters of the deposed president briefly invaded one end of the runway, and were forced to move by the authorities, using teargas. I saw a video where soldiers were shooting the tires of the buses that carried the protesters.

The former president attempted to fly, from Washington DC aboard a Venezuelan executive jet belonging to the CITGO oil company, but was not authorized to land in Honduras, and eventually the guy made it to El Salvador.

I too, hope that the collection at the museum will not suffer any harm, but first and foremost, I was hoping that there would be no people wounded or worse, killed but the most recent news indicate at least one dead, and several wounded in clashes with the army.

Saludos,

Tulio
