What aircraft would you want flying top cover? This could be WWI, WWII Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan. This is purely your wish F-15's in WWI? P-47's in Vietnam? AH-64's in Korea? I would want A-10's AH-64's in any theater! Especially at Normandy!

Definitely A-10. I'm scared to see what they decide to replace this aircraft with in the next few years to attempt to match the capabilities. Probably some UCAV video game.
