Hey Jack, did you contribute a photo for Flight Journal? I saw a photo about Hellcat operations in the current issue, and one of the photo says photo courtesy of Jack Cook. Just wondering.

Can anyone see any sort of barrier or barricade between the Hellcats on deck and the one on SHORT final? It doesn't look to me like he would have had room to go around....

I can hear a friend saying, "No worries, the landing F6F pilot is a naval aviator ..."

That being said, I think it was SOP to flip the barrier up and down rather quickly as planes landed/taxiied forward.
