Nice work Rich and Chris. Thanks for getting them nice and shiney!

I am looking forward to seeing the The Horseman in A/C. I'll be one of the many dots on the beach.

Can I move in? I have a sleeping bag, and my boy scout survival skills. I see a nice cozy spot under Bald Eagle's wing

Wow Rich, Chris sure does a nice job polishing, doesn't he?

My wife would probably run you over with the floor cleaner. She's pretty picky about her floor. She even yells at me over drips and spilled items.

Don't even get me started.
Next you'll want him to polish the Stratolina. Even NASA would complain about that.

Hmmm, you know, that's not a bad idea there. The Stratolina could use a polishing. :-)

Is that ever going to fly? That A model FlugWerk 190 was pretty neat. Maybe in 5 years they'll be sorted out

With the loss of Gary I would like to let some of you know how he has helped our operation.
We purchased some Griffon and Shackleton stuff from Gary this past Summer and I even talked with him last week about parts off of the last griffon engine he had.
I had to wait until the plate was a little less full to follow up with a further call which will now never get made.
Reason was getting Frenesi ready to ship.
Frenesi has left with Les Chapman today-

Now back to the Gary connection with the Spit.
We had some issues with the Griffon and used parts that we got from Gary to get her back in the air.
Gary would call or email about something posted here and often would post in this thread. I thought this would be the best place to honor Gary's memory with this little story.

Rich,

What is the plan with Frenesi? Is she gone for good, or will she be coming back to you?

She is gone for good I think as she was registered to Comanche Fighters LLC earlier this month: http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... rtxt=357FG
Where is located Les Chapman workshop BTW?
