I got this one on ebay some time ago for a bargain price, but It lacks the small crashpad and reflector glasses(it looks like a Mod 6 in this way!), but for the rest it's complete and in pristine conditions! I guess the missing parts come on an unique ring base that goes right over the gunsight upper edge. Is there anybody around here who has the missing parts, or can point me to someone who might have them? A manual for it would be really welcome too :)

Signore Harvard:

A Monsieur Girard, in St. Fulgence, Quebec, Canada, advertises surplus aviation stuff on Barnstormers. He has had in the past, gunsights and parts for sale.

Good luck!

Saludos,

Tulio

"You'll find the truth, and the truth shall make you free" : )

Yup, B'stormers .com; the guy's name is Alain Girard, the location is St.Fulgence, Quebec (I believe it is near Chicoutimi); a simple search on the B'stormers ads should suffice.

I own a different version of a naval gunsight, I don't recall the exact model right now, but it is the navy's equivalent of a Mk.14, this one was removed from one of the Honduran AF Corsairs. Everything works on this baby!

Tulio

No, I don't know an e-mail address for Jay.
He's real good about answering his phone,
not just another darn answering machine.

Blue skies,
Owen

that's nice, but calling him from Italy is a lil bit tricky & expensive.. I'll go for the fax option and let's hope he has something for me ;-)
