We had 3 WWII Jeeps, 2 M-151's, a 1956 CJ-5, A 1979 CUCV, and a 5 ton, barreling through trails and gravel roads. We stopped for a break and I heard it, then we all saw AO go right over us. After that we had a few sightings as she conducted her flights.
What were you in??????? I was in my M151 today and I did not see crap!!

I think you'l find the Zero started out as a Zero....whereas the Spit didn't start out as a Spit.
& I thought I was going to witness a crash there today when the missing man Navion formation came VERY close to living up to it's name. There were a couple of seconds when i thought the missing man one was going to stall & spin in..

It is a matter of semantics and was intended primarily in jest. You can build a replica Spitfire using 100 pounds of original parts or reconstruct a Zero out of 100 pounds of original parts. I'm not denigrating the owners or the artisans that constructed these things. One is built to a different specification using wood instead of metal in many areas, where the other is mostly built to original specifications. Either way they are only 100 pounds authentic, or are they? Makes for an interesting question, no? I would love to fly either of them!

We ran up to our hometown yesterday and when we pulled up this was getting ready to leave. I didn't get the N-number, but it is based in the general vicinity of northeast Nebraska.

Well, not quite today, buzzed out to San Antonio over the last 6 days. saw several flights of T-6's doing maneuvers (Texan IIs out of Randolph), and a couple T-38s, the sadly neglected F101 in Beaumont at the Babe Didrikson Zaharias museum (sad even from Interstate 10, did not stop), and a dead Panther on a stick up in Pensacola rest stop......it was Blue.

Two CV-22's over down town Pensacola, then turned east over Gulf Breeze. They were at about 1,000 ft. I was on the twelth floor of my hotel and couldn't see the belly's of the aircraft.

Just by freak accidant I saw the Vice Presidant take off in an Air Force One 757 from Williamsport PA regional airport yesterday. I didn't know anything about it. Also saw the support C-17 aircraft. But we opted to spend some time getting something to eat first then coming back to see if it was going to take off. Yep we got almost back to the airport and I saw her already up.

Nathan, the Vice President's callsign is AF 2, but only when he's on board. Otherwise the call sign is SAM ( Special Air Mission ) and whatever the last three of the serial # is.

Saw the CAF SB2C fly--- from the back-seat! 
And you know... I didn't mind the tramp stamp AT ALL!
What a BEAST... It lands faster than my Aeronca is supposed to fly in straight and level flight (95 mph.)
The PIC was saving the brakes and using the airframes' drag and tire friction to slow the roll out.
One can only imagine what it was like to stop in whatever the cable stretch was... six feet? ooooof

Yeah, didn't seem to mind the stamps on the Helldiver and Hellcat either when I was wingtip to wingtip with em!
