Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

Anyone have experience with the different application out there for blogging?
I'm looking at Wordpress or google. I'm sure there are more out there and might fit my needs better. I would like to be able to customize them so that they will tie in with a website I'm building. I'd like to give the blog a very similar look as to appear it is not a different site.

all of them allow for costumized css styles. worpress is more powerfull than blogger but do you need the artillary? right now I'm using
http://www.tumblr.com and am happy but it all depends, in the end, what do you want it for.

Blogger is pretty foolproof, but basic. You can make it do what you want, but it's not an advanced item.
I've not used Wordpress, but my friend Brett does for his blog 'Airminded' and recommends it.
