The September 2009 Desktop Calendars are now available from the Warbird Depot website; http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp along with new Mobile Phone Wallpapers; http://www.warbirddepot.com/photo_mobile_wallpapers.asp,

This month includes:

1. Bill "Tiger" Destefani's highly modified North American P-51D Mustang racer "Strega", being flown by Steve "Stevo" Hinton, during a photo shoot at the 2008 Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA.

2. A rare Grumman F7F Tigercat formation taken during an evening photo shoot at the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV. It includes John Muszala flying John Session’s “Bad Kitty”, Mike Brown in "Big Bossman” (now owned by Rod Lewis) and Clay Lacy in Joe Clark’s Tigercat. This year's Air Races and Airshow will be held on September 16 - 20, 2009.
3. The Sanders family's Hawker Sea Fury T.20 "Dreadnought", being flown by Matt Jackson with Joel Swager in the rear cockpit, and C.J. Stephens flying their Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 "Argonaut", climbing out from Eagles Nest airport at Ione, CA enroute to the 2008 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

4. Vintage Wings of Canada’s Curtiss P-40N Kittyhawk (RAAF A29-414) fresh out of restoration by Pioneer Aero. This war veteran is being flown by Frank Parker near Ardmore, New Zealand during a post restoration test flight. It is painted in the markings of James F. "Stocky" Edwards of 260 Squadron, Canada’s highest scoring surviving fighter pilot with 20 victories and 6 probables. It won the Best Fighter Award at the EAA AirVenture 2009 convention in Oshkosh, WI.

5. Pacific Flying Services’ Canadair CT-114 Tutor (S/N 26017) flying over the California coastline near San Francisco, CA.

6. Christophe Jacquard's Focke Wulf FW 190A-8/N, during the 2009 Flying Legends Airshow in Duxford, England.

7. Stew Dawson rounding a pylon in his modified Hawker Fury FB.11 "Spirit of Texas" at the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

8. Dick Rutan flying the Virgin Galactic WhiteKnight 2 during a demonstration at EAA AirVenture 2009 in Oshkosh, WI.

9. Dan Vance’s North American P-51D Mustang “Speedball Alice”, being flown by Rob Gordon, at the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

10. Howard Pardue rounding pylon #2 in his Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat "Kimberly Brooke” at the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

11. John Lohmer rounding pylon #2 in his North American SNJ-5 Texan "Radical Velocity" on his way to a Silver Class first place finish at the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

12. Sherman Smoot rounding a pylon in John Moore’s highly modified Yakovlev Yak 11 "Czech Mate" at the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

All desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are available in 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1024x768 formats and 1920x1200, 1680x1050, 1280x800 Wide Screen formats. The instructions for loading any of the desktop calendar or wallpaper selections are located below the thumbnails on the applicable page.

I think you should put a picture of the CAF's P-51 C "Red Tail" in there. :wink:

Bill Lamberton of Paine Field, WA, flying his authentically painted Candair CT-114 Tutor (S/N 26017) over the San Francisco Bay with the historic Angel Island in the background.
