Visiting Williamsport pa yeaterday I wanted to check out the airport. After unknowingly seeing the vice presidant take off we drove around the airport. I was surprised to see a A-6 Intruder on the field. Any info on this? I am guessing the aviation school on the airport uses this for teaching?

Yep I had no camera either! :x

Nate,

And, yes, the Intruder does belong to the Pennsylvania College of Technology's aviation department. It is a part of the Lumley Aviation Center there at the airport.

Nathan, if you don't mind could you upload a shot of the Intruder...
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframePho ... rameSN=800

If you took any photos of any of the other aiframes at the college...
ImageAerial Visuals - Location Dossier - Pennsylvania College of Technology
...it would be great to have a few of those as well.

Thanks in advance for any uploads if you can.

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone noticed that the old school had had a modern facelift. I went to A&P school there when it was the "Williamsport Area Community College" back around 1980. Oh did we have fun with the stuff they had on hand then. I often wondered whatever happened to the old CV-240/T-29 they had. Any thoughts or knowledge ?? I know that the UH-1 Huey is still there along with the Twin Bonanza (?)..which looks a little rough given the time frame. The Hiller Helicopters look like they are gone also.

Give me some feedback folks :)

Paul
