Here is a link to the page with my photos of Grumpy from Reykjavík last Saturday and the takeoff on Sunday morning.

Just click on the B-25 photo.

Cheers from poverty stricken Iceland

Rumor has it that Grumpy will be stopping at KBLI to clear Customs sometime Wed. afternoon

It will then get an escort of HFM aircraft down to Paine :D

And I'm going to be out of town

Saw Grumpy when I was driving by Edmonton's City Centre airport Tuesday evening... I almost hit the curb when I spotted her... I'm sure everyone can relate.  I also had the pleasure of seeing Grumpy at Duxford in July. :)

They probly called the B*** at the Seattle FSDO and she said you cant bring that thing in the country cause I cant verify the airworthiness of the aircraft!!!!! hahahah... Ive heard the Seattle FSDO story on aircraft incoming to the US. Went through that with the C-47!

Sorry to hear its held up. But there are good folks up there at the Muncipal Airport and museum that can help with tooling and support if its just a maintenance issue. Have a great many contacts up there.

Cant for wait for 1 more 25 to be baack in the states though!!!

I've tried in the past to warn EVERYONE to stay as far away from the Seattle FSDO as you can! That dumb bi+ch who runs it is a political appointee and thinks every old airplane should be turned into beer cans,
and if YOU work in the Seattle FSDO and read this message please feel free to pass it along to the dumb bi+ch, she's an impediment to the progress of aviation and should go back to whatever she was doing before she became someones niece-in-law. She's even run off visiting people from other FSDO's, that's pretty powerful PMS
