We were at the beaches (all of 'em) in '08. Seeing the beaches from the German positions, it's simply incredible that the allies didn't lose more troops. Omaha, with the tide out, had to be downright terrifying. They aren't called "The Greatest Generation" without good reason.

Thunder over Michigan, WWII Museum in New Orleans, and NMUSAF.
Next year...Bastogne and Duxford.
