Is there even such a thing as cheap Platz kits? Their Hellcat is really nice though. Here's one I just finished recently. (For those not in the know, the Platz kits are 1/144)

Man, that is awesome for 1/144. I would never have guessed. You either have very good eyesight and a steady hand, or a huge magnifying glass! A lot of patience involved anyhow. If it was me , there would be a lt of sweary words involved! I think the last kit of that scale I did was the Revell Lufthansa Connie, but that wasn't exactly a small kit, and I was a teenager when I built that ( about 20-some years ago!!)

P.P.S. Don't worry about it, I for one really like the way threads sometimes take on a life of their own and evolve, but that's just my opinion!
