What I did over the Long Weekend.
Not really my first ride but My first formation ride.
A lot of FIRSTS for me. I was over Joliet with 3 of the finest warbird pilots I can think of. To see that Mustang comin up on your 6, standing on the right wing, is a little scarry. But so cool I can't describe it.

What could be more fun then this!?

That answers my question.

Very Cool! Is the Turkey really that BLUE or did it "push" a bit in processing?

It is really that blue.

Looks like a great flight, I'm jealous!

This reminds me of my first warbird ride, back in 1983 in the jump seat of Howard Pardue's FG-1D N67HP (now at McMinnville). I think we were upside down more than we were right side up! Thank you Howard!

Yes, I have to say that Big Blue Bird stands out in the sky and on the ramp. Really close to the "Blue Nose" blue on Vlados Mustang.

Got my first ride in the TBM too. had a chance to shoot some of Mr. O'Conners American Beauty P-51. He was even closer than Vlado.

Wish I was a better photographer.
