Hi Chuck:

Not to specualte too much, but did the attach angle inself fail? If so, was it one of the lower or upper ones?

Thanks,

Chris

OK guys, here is the link to todays aero-news article about what we can do to help keep the feds happy and do the right thing for the airplanes too.

I know of two other T-6s that have been inspected and corrosion has been found on the attach angles.

Hi Chuck,

Do you know if this a/c had the camera system on board? There might be something there to help determine what happened.

The camera was on and rolling when the accident occured. The video was recovered from the wreckage and was taken to a lab in washington, DC. It was reviewed yesterday by the investigating panel and the findings will be released by the NTSB.
I personally dont know what it revealed, if anything at all.
