Daily Mail picked up on it about a week ago, then it appeared on the BBC, now CNN. With the global nature of the interweb, it's interesting to follow the vital spread of 'news' - and in this case - non-news items.
I'd speculated there was a recent interview with the 'pilot' that triggered the Mail's risibly bad (and edited online to remove the most asinine comments) article.
