Here is a link to the small segment that was on NBC News on 9/14/09 regarding 7 WWII veterans flying from Waterbury, CT to Groton, CT in the B-17 and B-24 as part of The Wings of Freedom Tour. We were hoping to get a little more national recognition for what the guys went through 65 years ago, but the story was edited down to just a filler piece.

You skipped the P-51!!!!! At lest they gave us a few (very few) seconds of her too!!!!! Really a shame they could not give up a couple minutes, but I guess they have to have there quota of, um, well....I better stop before I get into trouble!
