Adult Swim is one of the funniest blocks of shows you can find on television today. I find not every show is right for everyone. But someone can always find a favorite show on Adult Swim/Cartoon Network. 8)

The channel sure isn't what it used to be when it started, but theres plenty of funny to go around. And for the many geezers that may have missed the boat on these shows but not the thread, just keep clicking.

Tops:
Venture Brothers.
Look Around U
The Mighty Boosh
American Dad
Big O
Cowboy Bebop
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Squidbillies
Robot Chicken
Superjail!
Home Movies
Metalocolypse
Pretty much everything else! (Im not picky) :D

Whats your favorite?!

Sorry, I can't resist...

Seriously, I guess I qualify as an old geezer at 44 years old; I've never heard of ANY of those shows...

I can only imagine that these shows are on the order of Nickelodeon. TV for teen agers or younger.

In the realm of "Kiddy TV" networks I really see 3:

Cartoon Network
Nickelodeon
Disney Channel

What Im talking about is a late night block of adult geared cartoon shows on Cartoon Network called "Adult Swim". Some of the shows only run 15 mins! It was started back in 99 or so and has grown consistently, gaining momentum. And don't worry, Im not going to crucify you older geezers for not watching what all those new age "gang banger" low pants wearing punk teenagers are watching!

And as what Muddy has said, the shows ARE NOT, for kids. Trust me. They wouldn't call it Adult Swim for nothing!

Before people wasted their time with these TV shows they went to places called "Bars" and hung out with people known as "Friends" and chased Women, who actually do exist outside of internet web sites created by nerds who have never moved out of their parents basement.
I understand that "Bars" still exist and can be visited if you are not afraid of a little cigarette smoke and alcoholic drinks. Why don't you give it a try sometime when you are feeling adventurous instead of watching a talking french fry on the TV.

Dude, relax, it is ok to watch T.V. sometimes. You might even learn something!

Yes, I used to go to bars and meet friends at these bars! Also met some really nice women and some I really do not want to remember, you know, the ones that made you go to the Free Clinic because you tingler felt extra funny a week later!!
And the alcoholic drinks! Oh yeah, they where the best!! They enabled me to do all kinds of amazing things, like picking up women, taking on more that two in a fist fight and convincing me to drive extra stupid!!

Luckily I have lived to the ripe old age of 41 so far and bars are just a distant memory. Happy Hours are still performed but under controlled conditions and safeties in place and once in a while the occasional night club is visited where I can do the Cabbage Patch and the Electric Slide with reckless abandon!

I think I have paid my dues and I encourage the young to have fun but be safe, because it is extra crazy out there from the days of my youth and things get uglier way faster!

So with that said, GO TEAM Venture!!

fixed for truth

bars are a great time and cash waster. I never met a friend in a bar who I considered someone to depend on, and never met a woman in a bar that I considered a keeper. If hangovers, fair weather friends, and cheap skanks are your thing, sorry to make fun of you :P
