Last I heard is that September Pops is to be painted soon and will not be painted up in a racer scheme. Also, the French Fury is waiting on (or already has) a new engine (the engine had some issues during the post restoration flight) and then will be shipped over seas.

I think I heard that they will ship the plane as is and it'll be painted once it arrives in France. I'm not sure what scheme they plan on using, I'll talk to one of the guys at the shop and find out.

Yep as DaveM2 has said above it will be in the dark blue Royal Australian Navy scheme, and it will be painted when it arrives in France. I just heard that they don't know when it will be shipped as its still waiting on a replacement engine.

Thanks for the followup Jason, was hoping it would be the blue as I had a fair bit to do with the blue Sea Fury here in Oz in the late 80's,awesome scheme on an awesome aircraft,we seem to be collecting them here again

Is the Janitell Fury still active?I don't see many pics of it at airshows in the States, cheers,Pete
