First Road Trip in 2005

Last weekend was the first of what I hope to be a few road trips in 2005. When ever I go someplace my camera is always with me since I try to take pictures of aircraft when and where ever I can.
Of course the main reason for the trip this time was to attend the Russell Air Group Show between Niagra Falls and Fort Erie in Ontario...

...this was what I hope to be the first of many shows. I took advantage of the fact that there was a show on the Friday, so I made a long weekend of it and enjoyed the smaller crowds on the Friday. It was also the first time I saw a Bf-109 fly, so it was a big day for me!
After the Russell show I headed west along highway 3 to Tillsonburg where I stayed overnight with family. The next morning while making my way north to highway 401 I was blessed with the sight of the CHHAA doing some formation work in their Harvards. I turned off the highway and made my way to the Tillsonburg Airport where the Harvards landed and taxied to their parking spots. I made sure I got a few pictures then...

I then headed east to Toronto. I wanted to revisit the Lockheed Super Constellation since I had not viewed it since it was parked in front of the Regal Constellation Hotel. It is parked on the North West side of Pearson International Airport. Here are the pictures...

...as you can see it is fairly decent condition, but really should go to a museum that can give it a good home.
The Connie is parked on a lot just off Derry Road. I got back onto Derry Road and headed east for a few kilometers and rediscovered the Toronto CF-100. I did take pictures of this one once before, but that was before I really knew how to use a camera. Hopefullly I did better this time...

After the CF-100 it was back to the 401 to head east towards Ottawa, but not before stopping in at the RCAF Memorial Museum to see the latest progress on the Halifax, NA337...

...at what progress they have made. I didn't realize it was intact, wing tip to wing tip! I also took pictures of a few new arrivals to the airpark, or new to me anyway.

Not to state the obvious but your Unidentified Harvard is 3191 (C-FMTX) like it says under the wing.

Yeah yeah yeah... That is what I thought, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't as 3192 or 3194, etc. I couldn't quite make out that last digit.
