A few weeks ago my crew went down to South Texas to practice the Cargo Heritage Flight and I took a bunch of pictures from the C-17.

http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... highlight=

Today when we did the practice for the Wings Over Houston Airshow, Rick was good enough to let me to ride in the C-47. I'm pretty sure this makes me the only person to have ever seen it from both airplanes! If the weather holds out, I'll be back in the C-17 for the heritage flight and flight demo on Saturday and Sunday.

"Bomber Flight" of WIX fame was over from England. He was sitting across from me in the C-47 and introduced himself. I'm glad he did because I'm horrible at introducing myself. I hope he managed to get some pictures without me in them!

This flight ranks way up on the list of cool warbird stuff I've gotten to do! It also improved what had been a very bad week for me.

I took the opportunity to moon my crew in the C-17 through the window while we were in flight....Gary would have found that hilarious!

Amazing stuff. It must have brought out some mixed emotions in you to taxi by 'Ole 927.' Thanks for posting these pictures Brad.

Brad,

Thanks for showing my nephew through your C-17 today. He took this photo and wanted to share it with the WIX people.

Great job today guys, the cargo heritage flight was awesome. I couldn't beleive how well that C-17 seemed to handle... it's simply enormous.

It was nice to hear them dedicate todays bomber flight to Gary Austin's memory. The announcer was very offensive though, calling it Ol' 928... not sure if he was joking or what, but we didn't think it was too funny. He kept switching up the horsemen too, saying Freidkin was flying Princess Elizabeth instead of Beasley.

All in all, a fabulous show, just one heck of a traffic jam!
